There's dance music royalty, with Carl Cox bringing his hybrid live/DJ set to Belfast, and techno heads will have plenty to keep them happy from Belgian DJ Charlotte De Witte and the relative newcomer Skin On Skin, whose Boiler Room debut in Belfast is nearing a million views on YouTube. On Sunday 27th August, hometown heroes Bicep will be back in Belfast with their legendary live set, demonstrating why they are now one of the biggest draws in electronic music. Saturday 26th August is headlined by Liverpool's house kingpins CamelPhat (of 'Cola' fame), along with the high-energy Australian DJ Mall Grab and arguably the first lady of techno, Nina Kraviz. Taking place at Boucher Road Playing Fields on August bank holiday weekend, the festival will once again attract 20,000 ravers each day to south Belfast, to spend time in the company of some of the world's best DJs and performers. Right at the top of our list for this summer is Emerge, the second annual dance music festival from club promoters Shine Belfast.

It may be hard to believe, but as we move into Spring 2023, festival season is just around the corner.
